Nurse Content Analyst ? Contract Our client, the nation?s leading healthcare services company, is currently looking for a Nurse Content Analyst to join their remote team on a contract basis. The Nurse Content Analyst develops, maintains and supports the clinical content of our clients? clinical products. Using medical literature review, synthesis of clinical information, data analysis and in collaboration with product management, clinical consultants, and customers, their role is to ensure the clinical content represents best practice standards and will meet requirements for different users, applications and contexts. The Nurse Content Analyst is also responsible for quality assurance of the content and for responding to internal and external client questions and concerns. This is a contract, telecommuting opportunity that will last up to 6 months. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Occasional travel to the Denver office will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
?Design, develop, and update clinical content and rules through the synthesis of information gathered from medical literature review, guideline review, internet searches, coding system updates, consultant feedback, and client feedback ?Define discrete documentation elements within an excel spreadsheet tool, to meet regulatory and standards requirements for the provision of nursing/allied health care in an inpatient setting ?Perform Quality Assurance of clinical content and create and maintain clinical documentation, as required ?Serve as a clinical resource for both internal and external customers ?Serve as a liaison between clinical development and software product development as needed
Requirements:
?Clinician or Allied Health Professional with a professional license in good standing ?3+ years recent experience as an acute care clinical nurse or as an allied health professional ?Demonstrated proficiency with various software applications, including but not limited to MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel ?Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to step through logical pathways to determine results ?Strong verbal and written communication skills, with good research capabilities and writing experience ?Results-oriented with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task ?Basic understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) research ?Informatics degree, case management experience and experience with Horizon applications a plus
