The nature and the complexity of each project depends on the customer and the application, however the qualified candidate must be able to perform the following functions:<BR> Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in making adaptations and modifications to designs.<BR> Estimate material costs of equipment for quotation.<BR> Provides customer assistance and interfaces with clients<BR> Supports manufacturing and sales departments by preparing test specifications production documents and other project related reports<BR> Design to meet latest safety & EMI/EMC directives<BR><BR>Because the position includes direct customer communication, strong oral and written communication skills are required. <BR><BR>Engineering tools available include PSpice, Mathcad, Viewdraw and Pads to complete the electrical design requirements, schematic development and PCB layout. <BR><BR>We are looking for those with at least a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering required along with 5-10 years design engineering experience.
