<UL><LI>Install, upgrade, patch, configure, monitor and tune UNIX systems running AIX and Redhat. </LI><LI>Day to day support of system software such as JBOSS, WebLogic, Apache, UC4, Sonic MQ, WebSphere MQ, TSM, NAGIOS. </LI><LI>Support of custom tiered Web applications, data replication and performance reporting applications. </LI><LI>Troubleshooting for problems in production environment, batch abends & performance issues. </LI><LI>Incident response and remediation for client impacting events </LI><LI>Frequent deployment of custom code in support of client commitments. </LI><LI>Project tasks for new system implementations. </LI><LI>After hours and weekend support during on call rotation. </LI></UL><P> </P><P><B>Requirements: </B> </P><UL><LI>At least 5 years of UNIX systems administration/application support and/or development. </LI><LI>Experience supporting applications in a 24x7 critical uptime environment a necessity. </LI><LI>Experience in IBM LPAR technology desired. Scripting experience desired. </LI><LI>Experience supporting systems running Sybase and/or Oracle desired. </LI><LI>Experience in financial services and/or Application Service Provider/Software as a Service provider environment preferred. </LI><LI>Must be comfortable with implementing corporate policies and procedures, change control, and audit compliance standards. </LI><LI>Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving, and customer service skills. </LI><LI>Ability to work well in a fast paced, high pressure, team environment. </LI></UL><P><B>Required Skills: </B> UNIX, IBM AIX, IBM LPAR, UNIX Administration, Application Support, Shell Scripting, Web Application Servers and MQ Middleware. </P>df-lj More...
